The Intel Charles E Young Preeminence Endowed Chair Professor in Cybersecurity at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of Florida co director of the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity (FICS) Research and the ECE Associate Chair for Research Dr. Mark Tehranipoor recently added another distinguished honor to his title, IEEE Fellow for his contributions to integrated circuits security and trust. IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious title.
In addition to his most recent accolade, Dr. Tehranipoor has had an exemplary year of achievements: he has also received the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering Excellence in Leadership Award,2017, Best Paper Award AsianHOST 2017 and the 2017 Research Excellence Award in his home department at UF. Dr. Tehranipoor’s excellence in research is exhibited across his current research initiatives including hardware security and trust, electronics supply chain security, IoT security, and reliable and testable VLSI design. Dr. Tehranipoor’s elevated IEEE Fellow status will be effective as of 1 January 2018.
