Ana Covic is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under Dr. Forte at University of Florida (UF). She got her BS degree in Electrical Engineering at UF in May 2018. She is currently a vice president of HKN, Eta Kappa Nu, honors society for electrical and computer engineers at UF, as well as Electrical and Computer Engineering ECE Department ambassador. In her free time she likes to go to the gym, do CrossFit, kickboxing, do outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and swimming, listening and playing music (violin), as well as watching movies and TV shows.

Andrew Stern is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under Dr. Tehranipoor at the University of Florida. He got his BS degree from University of Rochester. His current project is MURI: Nanoscale hardware security with a personal focus on anti-tampering and anti-probing techniques. His hobbies include playing videogames, tennis, squash, listening to music, watching financial market trends, and eating different types of cuisine.

Christopher Brant is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under professors Dr. Daniela Oliveira and Dr. Yier Jin in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Florida. Christopher obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Cybersecurity from Clemson University in 2019. His research interests are in IoT and Cyber-Physical systems and security, as well as applications for secure networking of IoT devices for consumer use. In his free time he enjoys playing PC games, tennis, running, and attending as many sporting events on campus as he can.

Dhwani is a PhD candidate advised by Dr. Mark Tehranipoor. Her current projects include reverse engineering of an AI chip and security assessments of vulnerabilities occurring due to hardware implementations, design flaws, and trust backbone of the AI systems from the design and architectural standpoint, including side-channel and remote attacks. PCB inspection with Automatic Bills of Material Generator and application of Deep Learning, Image Processing in various security areas. In spare time her activities include canvas paintings, cooking, and watching movies.

Grant Hernandez

Hardware-assisted software security, systems security, USB devices, program analysis, binary exploitation, and reverse engineering.

Grant Hernandez is currently pursuing his Ph.D under the supervision of Dr. Butler. His current research interests include analyzing USB firmware with symbolic execution in order to classify devices and applying Intel SGX to two-party computation in order to improve performance, while maintaining security properties. On the side, Grant is a member of UF's Student InfoSec Team where he participates in Capture the Flag (CTF) and cyber defense competitions. Some of his assorted hobbies include administering computers, creating audio-synced computer graphics, and going to electronic music festivals.

Joel is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Christophe Bobda. He obtained a bachelor and master in Computer Science at the University of Yaounde 1 in Cameroon and started a Ph.D. in Computing Engineering at the University of Arkansas before transferring in Florida. His current research includes virtualizing FPGAs within cloud infrastructures with mitigation of security threats arising from sharing FPGAs between multiple tenants. Md Rafid Muttaki has been working as a Design Engineer in the semiconductor industry for the last 2.5 years. He has completed his Bachelors degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2017 with a CGPA of 3.65/4.00. Right after graduation, he joined the industry with a view to learning design techniques and working with industry compatible tools. He has worked in device modeling and analog IP designs such as Bandgap Reference (BGR), 10-bit SAR ADC, LED driver but also has great interest in verification and hardware security. With this view to working with digital circuits and expanding his field of expertise, he is joining the research group of Dr. Farimah Farahmandi in Fall 2019.

Sajid is a PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Byron Williams and co-advised by Dr. Vincent Bindschaedler. His research interests intersect developer-centric software security, deep learning and threat modeling. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and the M.S. degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University. From 2011 to 2014, he worked as a Software Engineer in fintech industry, leading projects such as developing centralized MIS system for a large bank, architecting and implementing a core mobile payment engine for a startup fintech company named 'SureCash', which is now one of the largest mobile payment service providers for unbanked people in Bangladesh. His hobbies include traveling, reading, mentoring and swimming.
