2018 Annual Conference on Cybersecurity
The 2018 FICS Research Conference on Cybersecurity will be held at the University of Florida’s Emerson Alumni Hall on Feb. 28 & Mar. 1, 2018. The two-day event will feature speakers and participants from industry, government, and academia who will share their vision and ideas, as well as discuss issues and innovative solutions pertaining to cybersecurity on a variety of specialty areas – from network to software and hardware security. In particular, the speakers will address trust, hardware integrity validation, security assessment, IoT security, financial security, mobile security, automotive security, biometrics, cyber deception, malware detection trusted system design, and electronic and non-electronic supply chain security and management through talks, panels, posters, and open forum. FICS Research faculty and students will be available to discuss new collaborations, existing projects, and present their ideas and initiatives. In addition, students specializing in cybersecurity related research from across the state of Florida will also be available to present posters based on their research projects.

Parking: Parking for this event will be available on the north lawn of the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. University Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) personnel will be on site between
6:30 and 9:30 am on both days of the conference to hand out parking permits. Those arriving after this time are urged to find an alternative method of transportation to the event, such as Uber, as
parking anywhere on campus requires a decal or permit and UF UPD will issue a $35 ticket to vehicles not displaying official university decals or permits
